Il Segreto is a choreographic action with three rotating sound machines, Rose Spinner, imagined and realized with Francesco Cavaliere. The Secret and its practice, staged by a dancer or dancers, reveals in concealing: one of the rawest symptoms of human instinct. In a geographically close ecosystem, open, terrain, indeterminate, multitime, whispers, inverted creatures and desert roses alternate.

Annamaria Ajmone is a dancer and choreographer. At the centre of her research is the body, understood as a moldable and mutable material capable of transforming spaces into places, creating parallels and temporal superimpositions. For her productions she uses collaborators with whom she shares the creative process, thus involving different images and visions. As a choreographer, she has presented her works in numerous dance, theatre and performing art festivals, museums, art galleries and atypical spaces.
As dancer, she has worked with Alias Compagnie, Ariella Vidach, Daniele Ninarello, Santasangre, Cristina Kristal Rizzo, Mithkal Alzghair, Moritz Ostruschnjak. She collaborates with several artists on projects of various nature and duration including Caned Icoda, Palm wine, Muta Imago, Strasse, Jacopo Miliani, Francesco Cavaliere, Bienoise, Industria Indipendente. For Matera Capital of European Culture 2019 she curated the choreography for “Abitare l’opera, Prologo tra i Sassi / La Cavalleria Rusticana” directed by Giorgio Barberio Corsetti. For Magliano manswear Fall winter 2020 and for Marni womanswear Fall Winter 2020/21 she is a consultant for choreography and space dynamisation. In 2015 he won the Danza&Danza 2015 award as “best emerging-contemporary performer”. She is among the organizers of Nobody’s Business in Italy, a platform for the exchange of practices between artists. She is currently an artist associated with Triennale Milano Teatro.
